Xanthippe Tsalimi  is a Greek artist and interior designer. She has been working in the fields of fine and applied arts for over 10 years.

Xanthippe holds a degree in Interior Design and Architecture from TEI - Athens, Greece. In addition, she attended courses at the Helsinki University of Art and Design in Finland with the aid of a grant, where she worked on a multi-national art project.   

    Design studies were followed by a BA in Fine Arts. She studied painting under the instruction and tutoring of notable artists J. Valavanidis, P. Charalambous and M. Manousakis. She also attended courses in stage design, digital art, typography and graphic design, and she continued with educational studies in academics and art.  

    After finishing her studies and having worked with the architect Andrew Taleporou for many years, Xanthippe and John Tallios created the design studio “omikron” in 2004. Studio Omikron is a group of artists and architects that work on various art, design and architecture projects. In addition, for the past 6 years she has been teaching art, as well as design at private colleges and public schools.

    Xanthippe is also an active artist, working daily at her studio. During the past several years, her artwork has achieved notable recognition.  Her participation in group art exhibits have taken place throughout Spain, France, Finland and Greece. 

     Xanthippe currently resides and works in New York, after having  lived and worked  in Athens, Greece, most of her life.​
